2025

This page may be my last: it is being quickly and posted at 10 a.m. on January 3, 2026. The president finally quit reading about our takeover of Venezuela. We respond !!! but it should be no shock; "we" --- the Trump-haters --- have predicted such as this for years, we just didn't know/believe it could really happen.

The following works represent my last year in the studio. I will be immediately shifting from visual to verbal projects.

As of January 1, 2026, the studio illustrates the significant break in my creative work: ½ of the room is art --- with Ray Parish's serious Art on view! --- with 4 of the 7 "final" paintings (done from my photographs and with the intention of AVOIDING current events/news for a few hours a day, focusing seriously on formal decisions. In the other half, various souvenirs from protests and finished/unfinished/abandoned projects are on view, created so that I felt I was, at least, doing something!
